Though the environmental concerns were dubbed “An Inconvenient Truth” in Al Gore’s documentary, here are a few more to consider ….
We all are born
We all have to learn how to walk, talk and live
We all want to always feel safe
We all want to feel valued … respected
but … life is designed to keep us growing and taking risks, for without risking we do not reap the rewards.
We all want more than we need and give less than we can
We all want to fit in, but too much fitting in transforms us into what we are not
We all fight to be right and we will even kill, psychologically or physically, to be right
We all will die
but … life goes on without us though everyone wants to be remembered … to feel their life had meaning
The inconvenient truth is we all want to feel loved, but we can only give what is inside of us. The inconvenient truth is if we did not receive respect (feeling valued) and love (unconditional) in our early years, then it serves us, and the world we live in, as we mature, to decide to fill ourselves with respect and love … so they will be what we have to give life, more than anything else, before we die.
