Doing the right thing, especially a very different and non-traditional venture may seem like a bad idea, mostly because most of us like to stick to what is known and familiar … even if hurts us.
Warriors, the change catalysts of the world, are those who step out to the do right thing, not just for themselves, but for those they serve … the greater good.
Courage, conviction, and perseverance are the tools of such warriors … and the primary tools of those who fight to make the world a better place for all people to live.
Seldom approved of till victory is accomplished, a warrior fights the good fight regardless of the results … till he or she can no longer fight.
Once upon a time, I wrote a children’s story, Little Jack, about a particularly fearful rabbit whose reasonable, cautionary fear morphed into the dangerous, irrational fear that instead put him into unnecessary harm’s way … till the day he hears rabbits were once great warriors and his quest begins … which is also when the name of the story evolved into Little Jack: The Return of a Warrior?
Like Little Jack, I know how irrational fear, the fears of the unknown … the yet to come … turns us into something we are not … to keep us from what we truly are … warriors for good. I hope on 9/11/2014, your warrior will step forward to order/purchase your print or e-version copy of Connecting the Dots … with The RESPECT PRINCPILE book to sharpen your warrior-for-good strengths and skills … even to buy copies for people you know, including your classroom of students … the many Little Jacks of our world.
