Bravo! Hooray to the government leaders for taking sex off the political/social agenda so they can focus on more important issues than what people do in their own bedrooms.
Based on the logical, practical, and compassionate, “Connecting the Dots … with The RESPECT PRINCIPLE” concept, “Every life, should know by their own experience, they are valued … respected” because when they do, they are better citizens … so treating gays like heterosexual is to heterosexuals’ benefit.
Now, some Christians may be opposed, but as someone studying The Bible now to overcome the negative teachings I received about God, it is clear we all sin and we are not to judge and condemn anyone under the New Covenant of love. Jesus even said, “Those who have not sinned cast the first stone,” and they all walked away leaving the woman unscathed. So, it is time to quit wasting so much energy negating people’s love for each other and work on refining ours … plus minimizing our own sins that include gossip about other people, which is what talking about gay people and what they do or don’t do in their bedrooms is about. Love is the most important thing … and God forgives everyone and everything, for He is merciful.
No matter what our beliefs, if we can accept the simple idea … if we “Connect the Dots” and see the benefits to be reaped by everyone if we simply choose to value … respect all life regardless of our differences, we will be creating a better world than has yet existed … for us and for our future generations … otherwise, there may not be a place for them to live.
