The decision to have a positive attitude does not mean everything is perfect in one’s life … that things or us, don’t need to grow and change.
On the contrary, being positive simply means that regardless of what is going on in one’s life, we have at our disposal a wealth of knowledge, resources, and opportunities to grow … to become stronger and more resilient in the leaner, harder times … that will also enable us to be more grateful and generous in the abundant, gentler times.
And if you happen to be a believer in The Bible, Jesus Christ, and the New Testament, than you know, as I am learning too, a big part of faith is staying positive because of your faith … because staying positive about whatever is happening demonstrates our level of faith … our trust in God to take bad or difficult times and in the end to use them for good … His and ours. It’s quite cool … and peaceful.
I know both are working for me by the resulting changes in me, my responses to things and people, and for the great things and people turning up in my life.
“All is well,” is not only a great phrase, but also a great feeling.
Wishing you the same.
