Creative Nonfiction? Seriously …

Not what you think … creative nonfiction is not about making things up, but is about using the tools of great fictional storytelling to tell true stories.

Or in Professor Tilar’s words, “The art of bringing all the strategies of storytelling to the narration of factual events.”

I’m reviewing Professor Tilar J. Mazzeo’s books and lecture series for Writing Creative Nonfiction again in preparation for revisions to what I initially deemed a novel, but in truth, is nonfiction and needs to be written and cited as nonfiction because, in essence, the nonfiction books reveals not only my history, but also how I became the expert that developed the Connecting The Dots With The Respect Principle concept and company, plus its diverse range of books, products, and services.

Piper Professor of English, Colby College and the best-selling author of The Widow Clicquot: The Story of a Champagne Empire and the Woman Who Ruled It, the story of the first international businesswoman in history and The Secret of Change No. 5: The Intimate History of the World’s Most Famous Perfume @
