Four years into a marriage, an increasing level of aggression from her husband scared her to the point she started packing her car with her belongings over a period of time … just in case.
The night came.
Afraid to go home, she was going to take refuge where she worked part-time because nobody would know as the building was deserted until the next afternoon, but a desperate phone call to a friend resulted in an invitation to spend the night, along with sharing a conversation with friends, who had experienced violence in their homes too,
Within a few days, she and her few belongings were provided a place to stay for two months and make plans because she was fleeing from a potentially dangerous environment.
Last week I gave the woman a copy of my book, Connecting The Dots With The Respect Principle … the Getting Started version intended to speak directly to those feeling disrespected … devalued … made to feel less than … and her email back to me read, “Your book is terrific! Your book is opening many doors, particularly in the intro on page 7 Even those who reject us because we did not reflect them. Thank you for your words.”
J.S.
I’d say the book did the job it is intended to do, so I am greatly hoping for your support of the CHARLES CHOICE 9/11/2017 project I am raising funds for on the STARTSOMEGOOD platform so the play will be produced, filmed, and presented to get the Connecting The Dots With The Respect Principle into homes, schools, and communities, locally and globally.

And thanks from all of us who have or are being convinced they are worth less than anyone else … because we are not … because everyone matters.
Wholeheartedly and Respectfully,
