Learning Patience … A Harder Lesson for “Doers”

Because I’m a doer and not just a dreamer, patience can be quite a challenge for me when I think it’s time for something to happen, especially with the vision and knowledge God has put in my heart to do … so when things don’t happen how and when I think they should, I am learning to step back and smile with faith and trust … though not always at first as this week testified when I grew frustrated and disappointed that Charles Choice 9/11/2017 didn’t reap as hoped. But of course, God’s timing is perfect so when it is His timing, the production and filming will happen. The same goes for moving to California … His timing and way … not mine … which I am learning will results in options and possibilities I am not aware of or have not even considered … thankfully!
How is patience working … or not … for you?
This is a reminder for all of us …  patience is a virtue that is hard to develop, especially  in our instant gratification world, yet patience comes with many rewards, including avoided mistakes and the humbling consequences of moving too fast or trying to do something under our own steam only.
Thanks for dropping by. And remember, respect yourself and respect you will also receive.
