From Brendan Gill’s 1996 book, Late Bloomers, on page 16 he shares Coco Chanel’s words, “Some people are fortunate enough to bloom both early and late, with an interval of contented dormancy in between.”
Well I may not have been content much, especially in the many years following my early bloom, and fall, but thankfully I am now as I watch myself bloom again, this time though with all my gifts, talents, skills, and knowledge coming together in ways they could not before because of a number of factors (Watch for the upcoming autobiography, A Charmed Life to learn about those influencing factors).
The feeling of wholeness, attributed to a higher “Respect Level,” plus my wholehearted belief in God and commitment to what He has put in my heart to do, has created a confidence and assuredness never before experienced in my life, so I am quite thrilled that the best years of my life have yet to arrive.
Wishing the same for you …
