My Covid-19 Vaccine Excitement!

My personal preference is to do what I can to stay … to be healthy without medication.

Aging though, presents new challenges. What our bodies could once tolerate, no longer does the body give us a pass on. We have to make changes to our lifestyle, diet, managing stress, and managing aging.

After experiencing some scary health challenges in my thirties, I made some radical changes. I quit smoking, drinking coffee and most alcohol, plus left both a working and home environment that was adding to the problems versus helping.

A delayed child and teen hood fostered what seemed like a midlife crisis, but in reality was a period of deep discovery and healing. And since there was much to heal from, the journey was long, though it became longer as a result of putting my life and dreams on hold in 2011 when I moved back to be there for our dad until his passing in 2015. My health took another severe hit then that is only now finally being resolved as I get back on track with a healthy diet, a return to my yoga/pilates practice, and a new psychological/spiritual way to manage the stress of current financial challenges due to the debt I incurred to be with my dad, living accommodations, and lack of a vehicle in a community without public transportation.

Maybe it is because I have previously volunteered for clinical Phase II trials in Toronto that tested medications either on products already on the market or a competitive new product that getting the vaccine does not bother me. What bothers me more is having to take medication on a regular basis because after reading about all the potential side effects from available products already on the market, I prefer to keep changing my choices as my body changes with the aging process.

So, after booking my COVID-19 vaccine for the first week of May and late August I am excited to be doing my part to help solve the pandemic problem, to not infect anyone, and to free me from having to endure a lot of other medication and procedures were I to be become ill with the virus and its complications.

I also feel freed from having to stay in my kitchenless, bathtubless studio living space once the means arrives for me to move on … hopefully much sooner than later. May would be awesome, but patience is a new friend of mine.

And since I now have faith in God to take care of me, as I realize He always has, fear of science and a vaccine, is nonexistent … because all good things come from God and anything not from Him, He protects me from, which is a very comforting, uplifting way to live no matter what comes … because I know where I am going when all is said and done. I love and am greatly relieved to be living this way than the fearful life I have lived most of my life.

So, here’s hoping my experiences, knowledge, and words get you excited too! If yes, let’s get vaccinated together and then we will all be able to get back together and back to work much sooner than much later.

Take care. Be Safe. Protect yourself and others … because everyone matters.

We All Have Power, But …

We all have power, but it is also important to recognize and value our differences so the power in our differences can make the world a better place for everyone.

Today’s hope and prayer … that all people will do their part so we can all be free from the pandemic by September 2021!

Fortunate are those who live with their loved ones … unfortunate are those who do not and those who have been separated because of the pandemic. Hugs also to all those living … and dying in isolation due to COVID-19 🤍 Demonstrate compassion by doing your part so we can all be free of the pandemic sooner than later.

What Fearful Following Can Result In

Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we need to take time to remember the over six million people who were murdered by a leader who convinced, by fear, to follow him versus their own consciousness and the humane right of every person to valued … respected … simply for being a life.

Confident Secure People Are Not Egoistic and Are Not Motivated by Self Interest

Confidence can be a good thing, but as with most things taken to an extreme manifests an imbalance.

The same goes for insecurity, especially because the most insecure people falsely believe that they must try to elevate themselves to positions of accomplishment/power … in order for them to feel powerful and secure … when in reality, I have personally discovered from my own transformation from insecure to secure, secure people do not have to because they are not only secure, they are confident in their worth, regardless of their circumstances, their status, or their position.

Another challenges an insecure person faces is becoming prideful to the point of egoistic … otherwise described as conceited, self-serving, motivated by self-interest, in order to compensate for their insecurity. And a self-absorbed person will use whatever and whomever they can to achieve their goals, but when something or someone no longer suits his or her purpose, they are quick to dismiss, discard, blame, incite, and in some cases, even kill bodies as well as spirits. We certainly see this in all those books we read and movies/shows we watch, plus prisons are packed with many such individuals. And right now, we see this playing out our political stages in North America.

Control and manipulation are the tools employed by insecure people to mask their fear of being seen for what they truly are … a human being with weaknesses and strengths … and in their case, as one who feels so insecure and non-confident they must create a persona, not unlike “The Wizard of Oz” to support their false bravado.

And though humans throw the word “supremacy” around, such as with supreme court, supreme justices, and even white supremacy, the reality of the matter is there is no supreme being on earth. Every human is fallible and the most secure, confident people know this, and if they are leaders, they add team members who complement their strengths and add strength to their weaknesses.

In contrast, the other thing that identifies a secure person is their altruistic thinking and behaviour … he or she cares about and helps others … rather than seeks to control and harm … in part, because they are mature enough to know we are all in this world together and working together, drawing on each other’s strengths, rather than manipulating their weaknesses, is the best source of success for humanity, rather than extinction.

So, you decide … what kind of parent, husband, teacher, or leader do you want in your life … leading your community … your country?

What We May Not Know … What Narcissists, Abusers, Bullies, Tyrants, and Dictators Have in Common

The challenge for people right now is to ask the questions that need to be answered rather than digging in and holding fast to beliefs that could be harmful to themselves as well as to others. This knowledge is one of the first things taught to children, teens, and adults who have experienced abuse in order, not only for them to heal, but to be able to recognize abuse for what it is … because it is often cloaked or wrapped in charismatic, charming words and actions … until the person gets what he or she wants from the person or group he or she is victimizing. It’s kind of like a 101 class … the basics needed to learn in order to prevent the recurrence of being victimized again.

However, abuse is not restricted to sexual abuse, but as history and the present show, abuse can be used in any arena, including the political, currently being demonstrated in a country, the United States, that for many people has come to represent democracy and freedom from tyranny.

My hope is that with more knowledge about what is actually going on, more people will be encouraged to stand up to those who seek to stand on other people to seek a sense of superiority that is not attainable by might born of abusing and bullying those who don’t agree or follow them.

NARCISSISM … The term comes from the Greek myth of a young man’s unfortunate emotional investment in his own reflection. In its most general sense it stands for an exaggerated self-love.

ABUSE … To use improperly or injuriously, misuse. To hurt by treating wrongly. To speak in coarse or bad terms. To revile, malign. To deceive. Abuse of power. Vicious conduct, practice, or action. Abusive language. To slander. Insulting.

BULLYnoun … A swaggering, quarrelsome, usually cowardly person who terrorizes weaker people. A hired ruffian … verb … To intimidate or coerce by threats. To act the bully.

TYRANTnoun … One who rules oppressively or cruelly, a despot. One who exercises absolute power without legal warrant, whether ruling well or badly.

DICTATORnoun … A person having absolute powers of a government in a state, especially, such a person considered as a tyrant or oppressor. A person who rules, prescribes, or suggests authoritatively.

Applying What We Learn from History to Prevent Master Deceivers from Inciting Chaos and Hate Today

As history has repeatedly shown us, master deceivers excel at pulling the wool over people’s eyes so followers do not see the truth of the matter. We only need to look at serial killers and anyone with their own agenda to control and harm … Hitler is still one of the best examples of blinding people and controlling them by fear.

The President and his gang, not the Republican Party, are responsible for all that is ugly, dark, disrespectful, and hateful towards are all Americans. I am grateful that the mob attack to stage a coup has finally removed the veil from the Republican Party’s eyes … and as a result has UNITED what the President DIVIDED. Hooray and Amen! BRAVO Americans for saying enough is enough to protect DEMOCRACY and ALL AMERICANS!
