7.4 billion for one year
7.4 billion for Canada only
7.4 billion for domestic violence only
What do you think the dollar number is for the total violence is in Canada? … the world?
Do you agree those billions of dollars spent “coping with the effects” could better be spent on fixing the root of the problem … the low Respect Level people have for themselves and for the other people they physically hurt? and harm in many other ways?
So … what are you specifically going to do today to raise the Respect Level of your self, loved ones, school, community, workplace, our leaders? Perhaps at the very least, bring the concept of Connecting the Dots … with The RESPECT PRINCIPLE into the lives of all the people you impact?
Every person … every life is valuable. Let’s stop rejecting people and help them instead reject the disrespectful behaviour that breeds separation and violence … because people only attack themselves or others when they feel disconnected from the world they live in … which is why they try to take control in whatever way they can.
And if you are into praying, please pray for both victims and their violators … both need more respect … and more love … as do we all to create the positive, respectful change we all need.
