My own experience revealed burnout happens because there are no other options, so be sure to give yourself time to restore before trying to live as you did before. But then again, we can’t live as we did before because the experience changes us forever.
 
All I can say at this point is I’m glad I don’t have to do the same for mom because her needs are being taken care of by several other people, so now I can finally focus on my work and company that was stalled by parental care and my burnout recovery.
